WE DO NOT HAVE PUPPIES AT THIS TIME. WE EXPECT THE NEXT LITTER IN FALL OF 2024.

We appreciate you visiting our site and your interest in one of our puppies.

We recommend that you research this active breed and consider how it might fit into your lifestyle. We will be happy to discuss the Sheltie’s temperament and your lifestyle and goals with a Sheltie.

We require all interested individuals to submit the Application to Reserve form found on the right side of this page.

Our breedings are carefully planned with two goals in mind. Our first goal is to breed shelties that conform to the AKC breed standard in order to better and perpetuate the breed. When the puppies are old enough, we evaluate them & select our puppy first because we want the puppy with the best potential to conform with the sheltie standard in order to continue our breeding program of healthy, happy shelties. We then contact those on our waiting list.  We don't let puppies go to their new homes until they have their vet exams and appropriate vaccines. It is possible that we could have a puppy ready as early as 8 weeks, but most will be at least 12 weeks. As well as allowing us to select an appropriate breeding dog, the puppies will have more interaction with the rest of our sheltie pack which results in better adjusted adult dogs.

Second, we breed puppies to be your companion and family member. We socialize our puppies with people of various ages and with other shelties. Our sheltie companion puppies are sold with a limited AKC Registration. This puppy cannot be shown in AKC conformation or be bred, but it can participate in agility, rally, obedience, scent work, herding, and other sports. Our puppies are from AKC registered parents and will also be registered with the AKC, but the pet puppy is not for breeding and is sold on a spay/neuter agreement that must be signed at the time of purchase. The purpose behind this contract is to protect the puppy and ensure only the very best dogs are bred. Full AKC Registration giving breeding rights will be considered in special circumstances and at a much higher purchase price than companion puppies.

Completion of the eight questions on the right side of this page is required to be placed on the puppy waiting list. Once approved you will then be place on the wait list. The order in which questions are received will determine your place in line for a puppy. While you will see pictures and videos of the litter and probably pick your favorite, we will consider your goals in having a sheltie pet and the personality of the puppy in choosing which puppy goes to which family. We will try to give you the gender you request, but picking a good match is paramount to gender. All will be required to sign a puppy contract. Our puppies are non-refundable unless it falls within our health guarantee policy as outlined in the contract.

Our puppies are $2,500 each.  This includes AKC registration and the AKC Registration certificate that will come directly to you in the mail. Your puppy will also be microchipped. The microchip registration will be pre-paid and available to you for the lifetime of your pet. The microchip database is also transferable. You will have access to a 1-800-Helpline with AKC. You can call an expert to help resolve unique problems with your puppy. You will also receive a one-year subscription to AKC Family Dog magazine. Additionally, you will receive a coupon to apply to your first vet office visit. AKC will provide 30-day trial insurance protection package.

Puppies will be current on all vaccinations, dewormed and have a health guarantee outlined in the contract. Please remember to have your vet "health check" your puppy within 10 days and to follow through on future wellness checks.

We do not ship our dogs as cargo.  So you will need to come to Alabama to pick up your puppy or fly to Huntsville and fly home with the puppy under your seat.

We are so excited and happy when our puppies are matched with their new family. We have invested a lot of time and love into this puppy in preparing him/her for a forever family with you!
